Broken Sky Imaging was built from a passion for both engineering and innovation. After earning my engineering license and working as a civil engineer, I saw firsthand how important accurate data is at the beginning of every successful project. That experience sparked a deeper interest in drone technology and the powerful role it can play in modern land development and construction.
Today, with advanced LiDAR drone capabilities, my vision is to bridge the gap between surveying, engineering, and project execution. By providing precise aerial mapping, topographic data, raw land surveys, and other drone deliverables, I aim to help clients move confidently from the earliest planning stages all the way through final construction.
Broken Sky Imaging is focused on delivering more than just drone services, we provide the critical foundation projects are built on. From untouched raw land to completed development, the goal is to support the full scale of a project from start to finish with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.

Founded by Corey Hartwell, P.E., Broken Sky Imaging combines engineering expertise with advanced drone and LiDAR technology to modernize the way projects begin. With 5+ years of industry experience in civil engineering and infrastructure construction, Corey understands the importance of accurate survey data in every successful project.
After seeing delays and inconsistencies in traditional workflows, he created Broken Sky Imaging to deliver high accuracy aerial mapping, faster turnaround times, and data clients can confidently build from.
From raw land to final design, the goal is to support projects from start to finish with precision, efficiency, and professionalism.
